About Envision Art
Envision Media would not exist without its accomplished team of artists and designers. As a way of giving back to our community, honoring our clients and partners, and supporting the fundamentals of our profession, we have created Envision Art, a donation fund for school art programs. This fund will facilitate and hire local artist to visit classrooms to pass down their expertise and knowledge to our future generation of artists. In recent years, schools have been losing more and more funding for art curriculums. At Envision Media, we believe that art is essential for encouraging creativity and developing focus in our youth, and in many ways making the world a more beautiful place to live.
This cause means a great deal to us and that is why we have chosen to create and manage the fund ourselves, ensuring that 100% of every dollar donated goes directly towards benefiting children in schools. It is with this spirit that we look forward to further donating our time, effort, and financial support to maintain Envision Art.
Another benefit of managing the fund is that we will all be able to collaborate on which schools receive this support. Our first thought is to focus locally and give back to the community that we are all a part of. Since our clients, partners, and colleagues live all over the world, we feel the best way to contribute to our communities is to support schools close to our hearts. We can't wait to see and share the benefits of Envision Art!

Envision Media donated art supplies to Aromas School school, and two local artists donated their time to teach the entire 7th grade class different art techniques. The students created holiday cards for the Butte County firefighters and first responders to the Paradise fire. The kids created over 120 hand written greeting cards, showing their appreciation and support. It was great to see how the students grew in confidence and were empowered in their creative abilities by the end of the class. The classroom was buzzing with positive creativity, and some of the students even made greetings for the artists that helped them, and for Envision Media. The next day these greetings were sent in the mail, postage paid by Envision Media.
We also made a donation to Paradise Elementary School to help with recovery after the fire.

Monterey Coast Preparatory, a private, non-profit Middle and High school, was selected for the Envision Arts award. Every year Envision Media gives back to local schools in an effort to preserve arts in schools and inspire young creatives. This project was unique in that the school was in need of a new image that more accurately depicted their platform designed to accommodate any student that struggles in traditional learning settings. The inspiration for the logo we developed for MCP aligns with Envision Media’s stated mission, which supports the accessibility of the best possible resources when it comes to visual communication tools for the appropriate audiences. We are humbled by the noble path these educators have taken to equip young minds with life skills that will help them
coexist in our neurodiverse world and empower them to explore endless
career opportunities.

ages 3 through 14 years. Lessons incorporated a variety of mediums including
clay, glass, metal, and paper. All students were instructed in techniques
such as metal tooling, glazing, and bleeding art tissue. In addition,
younger students learned to dye and weave yarn, while elementary aged
students fabricated paper which was used in the construction of personal
journals. Ms. Touch, through her dedication and expertise, provided not only
lessons on art techniques, but also challenged students to think creatively.

With the grant from Envision Art,
the Hill Country Montessori School worked with Ms. Catherine Touch, a local
area glass artist. The younger students drew designs with a glaze on glass
that were fired. Students then added fabric appropriately to the work. Then
two pieces of glass were placed together and the students added a copper
foil edging for some really nice creations. The other classes worked clay to
glass and the merging of both materials. They worked on bird feeders with
clay and glaze paint and fired, self portraits on glass with specific glazes
and firings, and pendants and fused glass jewelry. This was a truly an
inspirational experience for the children! We thank Ms. Touch for her
generous giving of her time, patience and materials with all of the classes.

With the grant from Envision Art, Mrs. Pena' 6th grade class brought back school
favorite, Patricia Leo, for the Fall classes. Mrs. Leo focused on painting this
semester and as said by Mrs. Pena, "Pat brought their abilities to new levels that I
could have never reached, it was great to have a resident expert in this field!" The
class did a lot of painting in support of their current Greek Mythology block. "It
was really cool to paint the Parthenon, I really feel connected to it now and hope
to visit it one day with my family", says Julian (student). Mrs. Leo also worked on
self-portraits, which is an advanced art skill and a great overall learning
experience that refines skills as well as an introspective look at one's self tying
into the overall Waldorf philosophy of teaching and timing. We once again thank Pat
